The purpose of Women of Grace Prayer Partners is to unite and develop authentic relationships among women and young women of TGCC through prayer and fellowship in order to effect change in our personal lives, our church and our community.

Plan

Women of Grace Prayer Partners will partner in prayer for 90 days from October to January. The 90-day prayer season will be divided into three monthly segments, each having a specific prayer focus (see below).

October’s Focus: “The Power of Love” (Lord, search my heart)

I Corinthians 13:4-8a – “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…”

November’s Focus: “The Power of Forgiveness” (Unhindered prayers)

Matthew 5:23-24 – “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother (sister) has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother (sister) and then come and offer your gift.”

December’s Focus: “The Power of Agreement” (Can two walk together unless they are agreed? – Amos 3:3)

Matthew 18:19-20 – “Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

During this 90-day season of prayer we are going to believe God that we, the Women and Daughters of Grace, will become more purposeful to love, forgive and walk in agreement, thereby creating authentic relationships that will transform our personal lives, families, relationships, church and communities.

Prayer Partner Information

How do I become a Women of Grace Prayer Partner? You will need to complete a Women of Grace Prayer Partners registration form providing your name, email address, worship location and phone number. Then you will need to identify a “new” sister (preferably someone you could reach out to and become acquainted with) who is also interested in becoming a Women of Grace Prayer Partner. Lastly, the two of you will then exchange registration forms and follow-up with each other to review the Women of Grace Prayer Partners guidelines and establish a prayer schedule together. How often should my Women of Grace Prayer Partner and I pray? We ask that you make an effort to pray with your prayer partner at least once a week. However, you and your prayer partner are free to pray more often, if you both desire.
